Nina Robinson

Nina Robinson FRICS MBA, the director and experienced Chartered Surveyor of Chiltern Associates has practised as a residential surveyor since 1986 with a background in both public and private sectors. Based in Suffolk since 2006 she has a strong interest in historic timber framed properties, Victorian and Edwardian houses. But she also does a huge amount of work in and around more recent houses and purpose built flats as well as conversions to HMO and more.

Nina has performed a huge number of both building surveys in areas right across Suffolk such as WoodbridgeSouthwoldAldeburghStowmarket, Sudbury, Ipswich and Felixstowe.

Nina is passionate about property and her approach to every survey is the same; detail and care. Without these two important factors a survey can miss some very important points. A property is never a small purchase and it is imperative buyers know everything about the property in question. Failure to find and point out a critical issue in a property can leads to a lot of expense and worry. Nina takes surveys very seriously and offers a service that leaves clients very well informed and ready to make a decision on a purchase.

Nina has always worked on the basis that each client has particular needs. All inspections are done in great detail and to a very high standard. Nina is a great proponent of a more traditional approach to surveys where detail and knowledge play a far bigger role than speed and low cost. Feedback is made to the client soon after the survey and then the written report is sent with full property details and annotated photographs. The report is prepared in sections for each element, such as roofs or structural movement, with an assessment made and recommendations for future action.
